Senior Sales Officer

Sinapis Investments is looking for a Senior Sales Officer to boost sales efforts at Lebena Biscuit Manufacturers. Lebena Biscuits Manufacturers is a leading producer of high-quality biscuits and cookies with an unwavering commitment to exceptional taste, variety, and nutrition. Over the years it has established a strong market presence both locally and globally.

Duties

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in local and export markets.
• Establish, maintain, and expand customer relationships, understanding their needs and tailoring our products to match.
• Navigate through complex sales cycles and foster a culture of partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate forecasts and sales reports to the senior management team.
• Identify new business opportunities and trends within the FMCG sector.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
• Provide excellent after-sales service and support, resolving any issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of mid-management experience within the sales and/or business development sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in the biscuits or similar category.
• Proven record in successfully handling local and export sales.
• Excellent understanding of market dynamics and sales strategies.
• Experience using CRM software for sales process management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages would be a plus.
• Ability to travel as needed.
