Our client within the automotive industry is looking to recruit a vibrant, passionate, knowledgeable and hardworking parts supervisor. The ideal candidate must possess the skill set required to execute the key responsibilities that follow and must meet the criteria listed within the minimum requirements to qualify for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sources and orders parts from local suppliers and ensures timely delivery of quality parts.
- Prepares cost sheets.
- Submit and reconcile warranty claims.
- Coordinates stock consignment documentation and avails them to the clearing agents for timely goods clearance.
- Track Parts Consignment from suppliers both local and foreign.
- Reconciles shipping documents, and process Spare Parts Mispacking Report (SMR).
- Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
- Updates prices in the SAP system to tally with the invoice prices.
- Prepares and submits timely and accurate warehouse reports and budgets.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 3 ‘A’ Levels, including Maths and English.
- Diploma in Purchasing Management or any Business-related discipline.
- 3 Years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Experience with motor vehicle parts, warranty, and import permits.
- Strong analytical skills
- Computer literacy
