Billing Clerk

REQUIREMENTS

The candidate should possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

Holds at least a HND or its equivalent in Accounting, degree is a plus

Proven experience as a hospital billing clerk or similar role

Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance requirements, and coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10)

Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and billing software

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Exceptional communication and customer service skills

Understanding of healthcare regulatory compliance

Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Great teamwork and collaboration abilities
