The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ)
Role is responsible for the Public Sector initiatives at ICAZ.
Responsibilities
• Development and Implementation of the Public Sector academic and professional qualifications.
• Accreditation and Re-Accreditation of Training Offices;
• Managing the Institute’s short courses initiatives.
• Providing/sourcing relevant technical articles for the Institute’s magazine and newsletters as well as for the attention of the Government and other stakeholders;
• Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet the institute’s requirements more efficiently.
• Tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve methodology and training offerings.
• Participate in and provide input to the international and local standard-setting bodies and all relevant legislation consultative processes.
