Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the above-mentioned post that has risen within the organization on a permanent basis.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Providing administrative support for the Principal Nursing Officer (PNO) and Nursing Department
  • Coordinating Nursing Managers, Senior Sisters, and Junior Sisters meetings
  • Preparing, and coordinating the Nursing monthly management report for the PNO
  • Compiling of the Ethics Committee, Medical Advisory and Medical Audit Committee packs and coordination of the respective meetings and taking minutes during meetings
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements for the nursing department.
  • Facilitating the annual renewal of all nursing practising certificates and hospital licensing renewal and the City of Harare.
  • Compiling and updating daily hospital statistics
  • Updating stakeholder data with HDA
  • Liaising with the LT Department and Corporate Affairs on Privilege of Access data capturing in the hospital management system
  • Live chat customer support
  • Assisting the CFO’s Office with secretarial support
  • Offering relief staff support to the Personal Assistant to the General Manager and Medical Director

PREREQUISITES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 2 “A” levels.
  • Executive Secretarial qualification a must.
  • Knowledge of consolidating board packs and preparation of minutes.
  • Confidentiality is critical
  • In-depth knowledge of computer skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working for an executive
  • Degree in Business Administration/Accounting, finance qualification an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and listening skills. • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and an enthusiastic team player.
  • Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
