Job Description

AFC Commercial Bank, a subsidiary of AFC Holdings seeks to recruit a Revenue Assurance Manager on a fixed term contract basis. Reporting to the Head Business Risk, the Revenue Assurance Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of revenue assurance strategy to ensure that the Bank’s revenue streams are protected. The role is expected to make sound decisions that contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop effective pricing strategies that maximize revenue generation and collection.
Ensure charges, fees, interest, and commissions (all revenue lines) are collected accordingly and appropriately.
Research on revenue collection and enhancement strategies, models, and approaches.
Oversee a team that imports, cleans, transforms, validates or models data with the purpose of gaining a complete understanding of all of the Bank’s revenue streams.
Develop and devise revenue assurance work plans.
Map and implement control routines for all revenue affecting activities.
Recommend or suggest system enhancements or upgrades to improve revenue generation and collection. Undertake system integrity checks on revenue generation and collection.
Provide advisory services to Management and the Bank on all revenue related matters.
Periodic review of processes, products, and services to ascertain effective and full cost recovery as per policy.
Development and deployment of revenue assurance policies and procedures within the Bank.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Data Analysis, Accounting, Economics, or Quantitative Analysis field.
A Master of Science Degree in Data Analytics or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
Professional Qualification in Data Analysis /Accounting is an added advantage.
Four years of experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and data modeling or in-depth financial analysis, 2 of which must be at Managerial level.
In-depth knowledge of banking industry technology and data landscape.
MS SQL Skills.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Good data analytic skills.
Grounded knowledge and understanding of banking products, systems and processes.
