In this exciting role, you will support the marketing efforts of Batoka Africa while ensuring exceptional guest experiences before, during, and after their travels. You will play an essential role in promoting our services, building our brand presence, and ensuring that guests receive top-tier service throughout their journey with us.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Marketing Officer to enhance our marketing initiatives and ensure guests receive exceptional service throughout their journey. You will play a critical role in promoting Batoka Africa’s offerings and managing guest experiences in alignment with our high standards of service and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & OTA Management

• Oversee and update OTA listings with accurate descriptions, high-quality images, and competitive rates.

• Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and social platforms.

• Develop and create engaging content for social media, newsletters, websites, and other promotional materials.

• Monitor OTA performance, respond to reviews, and recommend strategies to improve ratings.

• Conduct market research to identify trends, analyse competitors, and uncover new opportunities.

Guest Experience Coordination

• Actively monitor guest feedback channels, addressing concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

• Assist in organizing guest-focused events and campaigns to enhance their experience.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that elevate the guest journey.

Administrative Support

• Compile and deliver weekly reports summarizing marketing performance and guest feedback trends.

• Analyse guest feedback and market insights to inform marketing and service optimization strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 2 years’ experience in Tourism & Hospitality industry

• Relevant qualification in Marketing, Tourism, or a related field

• Knowledge of reservation systems and procedures

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• A passion for customer service and the tourism industry.
