Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and hard working Teaching Assistant whose responsibility will be to assist the Senior Lecturer in managing classes for professional qualifications and university programs. The incumbent will be based in Harare.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Managing class scheduling and timetabling on behalf of the senior lecturer
• Assisting faculty with classroom instructions, records, and assignments
• Leading discussion sessions and class presentations
• Preparing slides and notes and other materials to be used in class
• Marking, grading and capturing coursework and examination papers
• Managing course communications using various channels
• Providing student feedback on assignments
• Proctoring examinations
• Taking attendance and monitoring participation
• Any other duties as assigned by the senior lecturer
Qualifications and Experience
-A degree in Accounting is a must
-Good progress towards attaining an accounting professional qualification will be an added advantage
