Job Description
Applications are invited for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the Management Accountant position within CFI Holdings.
CFI Holdings Limited is a diversified Zimbabwean agro-based conglomerate with retail, farming, milling, and property development operations. The Group’s retail arm, Farm & City Centre, supplies agricultural inputs and hardware products, while its farming division, Glenara Estates, produces maize, soya beans, and potatoes. CFI’s milling operations include Agrifoods and Victoria Foods and the manufacture of stock feeds, flour, and other food products. The company also manages a substantial property portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Financial reporting: Preparing financial reports, including budgets and monthly management accounts
-Business decision making: Presenting financial reports to senior management for business decisions
-Cost reduction: Developing strategies to reduce business costs
-Financial systems: Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures
-Risk management: Analyzing and managing risk within the business
-Asset and Stock Management- Ensuring completeness of the Asset Register and the Stock management processes
-Financial analysis: Analyzing financial data to help make critical business decisions
-Industry regulations: Understanding and complying with industry regulations
Qualifications and Experience
• Accounting Diploma / Degree or any other relevant qualification.
• Preferably knowledge of Navision.
• 3 years’ experience.
• Must have a strong understanding of FMCG business.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Must have an understanding of various Statues governing the financial profession and financial standards.
