Job Description
First Mutual Holdings Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above vacancy that has arisen within First Mutual life Assurance Company.

The responsibilities of the Area Manager include hiring, training, and overseeing our field representatives, supervising our workers on site, and directing operations in the field.

A successful Area Manager is an independent thinker with excellent leadership, observational, and analytical skills. Ultimately, a top-notch field manager is goal-oriented and has a strong working knowledge of the Risk and Insurance / Sales and Marketing industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sales and Distribution Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Recruiting & selecting Agents.
Training and developing Sales Representatives.
Conducting performance reviews and training needs identification.
Managing the business procured by the unit and helping to meet and exceed targets.
Prospecting for new markets.
Insuring provision of quality service to all clients.
Implementing the code of conduct.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Risk and Insurance / Sales and Marketing.
Certificate of Proficiency is mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent Supervisory Skills.
