ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT: SUPPORT SERVICES DEPARTMENT; CATERING SERVICES
(1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate must be able to:
 Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
 Reconcile and monitor Catering Services outlets revenues and costs.
 Conduct inter-unit reconciliations.
 Assist with budgets.
 Create and update expense reports.
 Process reimbursement forms.
 Capture financial transactions into internal databases.
 Check spreadsheets for accuracy.
 Maintain digital and physical financial records.
 Issue invoices to customers and eternal partners, as needed.
 Supervise weekly, monthly and yearly stock takes and reporting
 Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

Qualifications and Experience

 Bsc/ HND IN Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
 5 ‘O’ Level Passes including English and Mathematics
 At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
 Familiarity with finance regulations
 Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g Quick books, Pastel and Catering POS Software.
 Organization skills.
 Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
