Equals Solutions is a FinTech company that provides digital consumer credit management solutions to institutions. The company offers a comprehensive set of automated, insight-driven services to help financial institutions achieve the digital transformation of the consumer credit management journey. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the Finance Manager post.
The Job
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will among other things be responsible for:
Ensuring that the accounting, budget management and internal financial reporting processes run smoothly and efficiently in accordance with agreed timelines and quality standards so that the accounting data and reports are accurate and complete. The candidate will be accountable for the ongoing implementation of the financial strategic direction for the company and ensuring alignment with the expectations of stakeholders and the financial goals of the company.
The Person
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:
• Accounting or related degree.
• Professional qualifications like ACCA, CIMA or CIS.
• Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• 5 years’ working experience, preferably in the banking or fintech sector.
• Must be proficient in financial analysis, budgeting and cost management.
• Corporate secretarial experience will be an added advantage.
