Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Steel Centre Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our steel products to customers in the construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. Your primary objective will be to meet or exceed sales targets while building and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of steel products, and a proven track record in B2B sales.

Responsibilities:

– Actively seek out new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.

– Understand customer needs and provide appropriate steel product recommendations to meet their requirements.

– Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by delivering exceptional customer service and support.

– Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our steel products to potential customers.

– Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

– Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic sales plans and achieve revenue targets.

– Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

– Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

– Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.

– Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the steel industry or a related field.

– Deep knowledge of steel products, including their applications, specifications, and pricing.

– Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

– Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

– Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive sales environment.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

– Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and track sales activities.

– Willingness to travel and attend industry trade shows and conferences as needed.

– Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
