Within our Enterprise Services division we have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Enterprise Business Development Officer. Our Enterprise Services Division creates high performance unified business infrastructures and reliable network projects to ensure that the most forward-looking, well-prepared businesses are building environments for the future. Enterprise Services comprises of four distinct areas; Smart Technology, Connectivity, Electrical and Fibre. Our Enterprise Services include;

Overall purpose of the job:

  • Support and execute the sales strategy with large enterprises
  • Build strong strategic relationships to build a large deal pipeline and accelerate the digital transformation of new customers
  • Your success will be measured based on your ability to achieve sales targets, and deliver end-customer success, while driving world-class customer solutions

Key responsibilities for this job:

  • Develop and execute short, medium and long term business plans to exceed targets
  • Achieve and exceed margin, contract value, and revenue targets
  • Deliver against key performance indicators and objectives
  • Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close key new business deals
  • Build and maintain a solid and robustly qualified pipeline of sales opportunities within assigned industry verticals growing to a level of 3x target coverage
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly sales achievement within accuracy of +/- 10%
  • Religiously maintain opportunity pipeline and deal positions
  • Develop strategy, produce win-plans and execute on major deals
  • Define target list and engage suspects based on clearly defined criteria
  • Carry out and record target prospect meetings in line with agreed KPIs
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the factors impacting the technology market, adoption and trends for assigned verticals
  • Generate strong relationships with senior executives within customer and prospect base
  • Develop and sustain network of contacts and key individuals within assigned verticals and target market arena
  • Identify and develop opportunities for strategic step-change revenue growth
  • Provide and develop a clear structured approach to the market that delivers the highest return for the business
  • Develop and execute on specific business plans with clear KPIs to track business impact for system integrator business
  • Identify and develop account targets, define the value proposition
  • Build and provide clear leadership to virtual teams in pursuit of major business opportunities
  • Identify and develop opportunities for strategic step-change revenue growth
  • Produce quotations and lead Exponential-e responses to tenders, RFI’s, RFPs, and other response formats

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Demonstrated experience navigating complex organizations with a strong understanding of professional services operating models
  • Experience selling across ICT product suites – Networking, Cloud and Managed IT Services, Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC), Cyber Security
  • Proven sales track record and the ability to close deals
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven experience in a business development role, preferably in the ICT and AV Industries, advantageous also having security experience.
  • Exceptional skills in managing a heavy workload and conflicting demands, whilst consistently producing high-quality work to tight deadlines
