Position: Accounting Intern
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Supporting the day-to-day accounting operations
- Conducting data entry and reconciliation of financial records
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Collaborating with the team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Assisting with tax compliance and filing requirements
- Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently studying accounting at University or Higher Education level
- Alternatively, pursuing a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
