Job Description

Accounts Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receiving all cash payments from all departmental sales
  • Ensuring all cash are requested through a cash requisition and Issuing out all cash as requested
  • Doing daily cash reconciliations timely
  • Issuing of airtime weekly
  • Ensuring that the cash sale account is correct and giving a true reflection of funds prepaid and outstanding
  • Assisting with month end closing
  • Any other duties that may be assisgned by superiorsQualifications and Experience
  • A Higher Diploma or equivalent in Accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Odoo Accounting software
  • Very good with figures
  • Able to deal with a wide range with stakeholders
