The Job:

•Ensuring proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicles through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of all check of tires, brakes and reporting any non-routine problems or malfunctioning equipment to the Supervisor.
•Providing reliable and secure driving services by driving office vehicles for the transportation of personnel delivery of documents and other items Ensuring availability of all the required documentation and supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs and spare parts
•Facilitating procurement of equipment and services through sourcing for quotations
•Ensuring that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accidents
•Ensuring good administration and procurement procedures in compliance with Financial and Administrative policies & procedures
• Running office errands as and when required.

The Person:

  • A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level passes including English and Mathematics
  • Certificate and or Diploma in Business Management/ Logistics/Supply Chain Management:
  • Valid Class 2 Zimbabwean driver’s license and defensive driving certificate must
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform well with minimal supervision Ability to plan, coordinate and organise workload while remaining aware of changing priorities and competing deadines
  • Ability to quickly shift from one task to another to meet multiple support needs
  • Ability to establish build and maintain effective working relationships with staff and service providers to facilitate the provision of support
