The successful candidates shall be responsible for:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process;
Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger;
Overseeing the trial balance of the company;
Produce IFRS compliant financial statements for the company;
Perform partial checks of the posting process;
Taxation planning and Taxation Management;
Preparation of monthly inter-unit reconciliations;
Maintaining and updating of investment schedules;
Preparation of monthly cash movement schedules;
Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements;
Process accounts receivable/payable;
Process the payroll of the printing press business unit.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have a first degree in Accounting;
A professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA/CIS/CPA is a requirement;
A Master’s degree in Accounting, MBA or MBL would be an added advantage
Applicants must have at least two (2) years hands on post qualification experience;
Applicants should preferably be registered Public Accountants;
Knowledge of computerised accounting packages such as Pastel would be a distinct advantage;
