Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance from a recognized institution or CIS/ACCA
- 5 O level subject passes with English Langauge and Mathematics
- At least 2 years post qualification experience
- Knowledge of computerized accounting systems is an added advantage4
- Below 35 years old
- A clean class four driver’s license is an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
- Billing and revenue collection of the Council
- Credit control and debt collection duties in accordance to laid down procedures
- Communication with clients to ensure the payment of council dues
- Resolving client billing and payment queries
- Analyse debtors and recommedn appropiate action to management
- Effective records management
- Reconciliation of debtors balances up to general ledger
- Prepare and submit reports
- Supervision of subordinates
