Reporting to the Accountant;
KEY DUTIES
- Identifying long outstanding debtors
- Make follow-ups on long outstanding debtors
- Prepare debt collection documents
- To negotiate and process summons through execution against defaulters
- To negotiate for payment plans
- Serving of letters of demands to defaulters
- Make recommendations on ways to reduce debtors
- Monitors court progress on debt collection matter
- Submission of reports to the Accountant on a monthly basis
- To supervise subordinates of the section
- Any other duties as assigned by the Accountant/ Treasurer
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 ‘O’ Levels including Maths and English
- Diploma in Accounting/ Credit Management
- 3 years’ experience preferably in local authorities
- Age 25-40 years
- Class 4 Driver’s licence
