About the job
The sales trainee will work with the current staff in order to learn about the essential operations of the business. You will be given assignments to complete with deadlines, and you may be stationed in different departments in order to receive the most comprehensive understanding of the job possible. At the end of the training, a sales representative position will be discussed.
Responsibilities
§ Attending to customers in the store.
§ Answering calls and responding to customer messages.
§ Handling cash, balancing daily sales and documenting daily shop report
§ Preparing quotations.
§ Replenishing stock on shelves in the showroom.
§ Ordering goods from the warehouse to fulfill orders and for restocking purposes.
§ Preparation of invoices and orders for delivery.
§ Filing.
§ Marketing and researching ways to improve business.
§ Entering new products in the POS machine.
§ Keeping the shop clean and orderly.
§ Perform any other duties as deemed necessary.
Support:
§ Complete all required administrative tasks (paperwork) in an accurate and timely manner.
§ Stocktaking
§ Update social media platforms and answer all customer service platforms. Further job descriptions can be added separately at any time
§ Support with preparations of financial reports
Qualifications
• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Accounting or a related area
• Initial experience in the field of sales, business development, or marketing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working proficiency in English is required
• Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated
• Hands-on mentality and ability to challenge the status quo continuously
• Knowledge in sales performance metrics, business applications, and CRM (Hubspot, Sales Navigator) would be a distinctive advantage
• Ability to work remotely, good Microsoft Office and Zoom skills are a necessity
