Employee Relations Manager.
Job Description:
Responsible for developing, training and implementing Employee Relations policies, systems and procedures that conforms with current legislation in view to maintain a harmonious and conducive working environment in TelOne service delivery.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Analyses And Interprets Relevant Labour Legislation And Other National Work Place Policies To Both Management And Employees.
- Prepares Heads Of Argument For Labour Court Cases, Arbitration Cases And Conciliation Cases
- Analyses And Assess Disciplinary Files To Detect Any Defects And Advises Line Management
- Provides Advice To The Regional Committee Members On The Legal And Procedural Matters During Hearing Proceedings.
- Represents TelOne At Labour Hearings Before The Arbitrators, Conciliation (Ministry Of Labour) And Labour Court.
- Carries Out Research On Workplace Labour Issues And Advise Management To Effect Evidence Based Decision Making.
- Develops And Designs Training Programs On Labour Issues, Code Of Conduct, Policy And Conditions Of Service.
- Analyses And Interprets Disciplinary And Grievances Matters And Advises Line Management And Workers Accordingly
- Coordinates, Attends And Provides Practical And Consistent Guidance On Disciplinary And Grievance Actions Ensuring Compliance With Company Policies And Regulatory Requirements.
- Attends To Disciplinary Proceedings From Time To Time As Required And Ensures Strict Compliance To Disciplinary Procedure During The Hearing.
- Assists In Promoting And Maintaining A Harmonious Industrial Relations Climate.
- Completes All Other Related Tasks As And When Required.
Qualification And Experience:
- A Degree In Social Sciences /Social Work/ Business Studies/ Human Resources Management.
- A Professional Qualification At Diploma Level E.G. IPMZ
- Experience In Industrial Relations Is An Added Advantage.
- Class 4 Driver’s License A Must.
