Duties and Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for advising the organization on how to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures, and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting. Duties will include:

• Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
• Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
• Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
• Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.

• Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders, and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
• Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.

Job Summary
• Daily financial management and accounting.
• Develop a chart of accounts for our system that suits the local market.
• Lead efforts to implement financial Management, accounting, billing, and integrated revenue recognition.
• Work closely with product and analytics teams on product changes, business changes, and new revenue products to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Manage and facilitate regular, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting of the company, including drafting financial statements, preparing notes to financial information, and the accompanying management discussion and financial statement analysis.
• Reviewing and maintaining all financial systems policies and procedures.
• Designing and implementing internal system controls (preventative and detective) to provide quality assurance over financial data.
• Analyze actual revenue and performance results against forecast, prior quarters, and previous years and provide succinct variance explanations to support the monthly financial results meeting.

Qualifications And Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or another related field
• A Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 5years post qualifying industry experience.
• Experience in the year-end annual report and accounts preparation and production process for an entity with complex reporting requirements.
• Experience in corporation tax submissions and issues.
• 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis|
• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.

• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.

• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.

• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
