Clinton Health Access Initiative Inc. (CHAI)
CHAI is looking for a highly qualified, very dynamic, energetic person with exceptional people skills and experience of working in challenging environments, to support Zimbabwe assistive technology team.
Due to funding, this is slated to be a 10-month opportunity.
- Develop toolkits with relevant resources and information to support program implementation.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing, including between CHAI program countries and with external experts.
- Coordinate the development and review of detailed workplans.
- Help organize relevant planning meetings (including a kick-off meeting in Q3 2023).
- Develop and support the implementation of program management tools.
- Conduct high quality desktop research and analysis.
- Engage with external stakeholders and expertise to inform the analysis.
- Prepare materials to present the findings, written report, and PowerPoint, with internal and external stakeholders; update based on their feedback and input.
- Other responsibilities as needed by supervisor.
- At least two years of work experience in a fast paced, results-oriented work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably in social welfare.
- Exceptional analytical, research and presentation skills for both qualitative and quantitative data; proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-performance, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with business partners and colleagues from various cultural backgrounds.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, including ability to work independently.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Natural ability to be a team player, build strategic relationships and interact with individuals from different backgrounds.
