Bluestops
As Bluestops we are looking to add two young and energetic Registered Social Workers to work with our Head of Social programs including our agronomist to act as advocates and help people foster their capacities and coping mechanisms in order to improve and better their daily lives and experiences through farming as a business.
Location: Goromonzi and Harare
Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, manage and implement support packages to help rural families deal with difficulties and overcome dependencies.
• Interview service users and assess their current condition, needs, strengths and weaknesses.
• Address each case as a unit and set tailored measurable goals
• Act as a key-worker and cooperate with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience
• Holder of a Degree in Social Work and should have graduated in 2021 or 2022
• Minimum of 5 O’ levels including English
• Experience in counselling and working with children and families.
• Good team working skills and should be able to interact at all levels in English and Shona
