INTERNAL AUDIT SECTION
POST A: SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Accounting/Internal Auditing/Business Studies.
Relevant Master`s Degree.
Must be a member of a professional body such as the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), ISACA, IFAZ, PAAB.
Possession of or studying towards a professional qualification in auditing such as CIA, CISA, ACCA or equivalent is an added advantage
Four years working experience in auditing.

Possess strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations;
Possess advanced skills in computer applications like Microsoft Word; Excel, PowerPoint, and other accounting software;
Strong ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds;
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the execution of audit assignments and provides an independent opinion on the risk and control environment;
Reviewing assignment plans, audit programs developed by Internal Auditors and Internal Audit Assistants and determining scope of individual assignments;
Develops audit procedures per assignment and reviewing audit procedures developed by junior staff members for adequacy;
Developing/Reviewing working papers to ensure adequacy of audit procedures performed;
Profiles clear audit findings for review and drafts the Audit Report relating to work conducted and in accordance with IPPF internal auditing standards;
Ensuring that assignments are carried out as per the risk based internal audit plan;
Conducting audits for management requests, special audits and investigative audits.
Supervising Internal Auditors and Audit Assistants in the performance of audit assignments and controlling the whole internal audit process;
Reviewing Draft reports submitted by Internal Auditors and or Audit Assistants for quality;
Conducting follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions and implementation of agreed audit recommendation;
Supervising, training, and mentoring staff, including interns on audit processes; and assessing staff performance;
