Puma Energy invites applications from qualified Quality Control Expert on full time role to manage solar plant projects and be part of Puma’s Energy’s renewable transition journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Quality Management System (QMS) procedures for Solar plant construction sites.
  • Formulate and Implement systems for quality audits
  • Carry out regular internal audits on quality management systems and submit reports to Puma Management.
  • Review, record, and report principal causes of non-conformance on quality and provide recommendations accordingly.
  • Determine, liaise, and implement quality procedures for a 3-party contractor at the site , review and approve their quality control file.
  • Access, Monitor, and supervise construction activities at the site to ensure that the agreed quality standards are met.
  • Investigate and set standards for quality, health, and safety at the construction site
  • Determine and implement training needs for Puma and 3rd party contractors at the site.
  • Record, analyse, and distribute statistical information to the site team on quality management performance.

  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, organizational, creative problem-solving, verbal and written skills.
  • Confident, organized, self-starting personality with the ability to understand and communicate a wide range of business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to maintain an objective, rational perspective while providing a logical, pragmatic and factual approach to problem solving.
  • Management skills with the ability to multi-task and balance short-term deadlines against long-term goals.
  • Ability to work with multiple people in a persistent, tactful, and enthusiastic manner.

Professional Experience :

  • 5 -7 yrs or more in the construction industry ( preferably Solar / Renewable)

Software proficiency :

  • Microsoft word, Power point, MS Projects, Excel

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering – Quality Management or equivalent qualification

Travel Requirement: >50%
