Machinist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Machinist at Lotus Auto-Tech located in Harare. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and tools to produce precision metal parts. Your day-to-day tasks will include setting up and operating machines, reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications, measuring and inspecting finished products, and ensuring the quality of the final products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role
• Proficiency in operating a variety of machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and instruments
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
