ICT Officer 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement ICT strategies in support of the Organisation’s vision.
• Provide sound ICT advice and choice of suitable software, hardware and other ICT
  requirements.
• Develop and Implement the Organisation’s ICT Functional Strategy and budget, aligned to
  the corporate strategy.
• Implement ICT polices, practices and new systems.
• Formulate Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
• Installing and maintaining the ICT infrastructure including configuration of computer
  hardware, software, networks, business systems and liase with ICT service providers.
• Ensure internal and external ICT security on hardware, data, and systems.
• Develop and continuously upgrade the Organisation’s ICT infrastructure for effective
  management of cyber-attack risks.
• Manage the organisation’s website and enable communication with stakeholders.
• Integrate the various business systems and achieve automation of processes.
• Train users to ensure optimal utilisation of ICT resources.
• Identifying and addressing ICT Software and Hardware faults.

Qualifications and Experience.

• Be a holder of at least a degree in Information Technology/ Information Systems,
  Business Studies & Computing Science or equivalent degree.
• Have excellent knowledge of information analysis, computer hardware and software
  systems.
• Hands on experience with computer networks, network installation and network
  administration.
• Have certification in any of the following Oracle certified professional Java
  developer, MS SQL certification or ORAL SQL certification or any equivalent
  certification.

• 3 years of experience in a similar role.
