Job Description:

Digital Geeks offers a unique opportunity for working students in Zimbabwean universities to gain practical experience in the software engineering industry while pursuing their education. As a working student, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge and skills in a real-world professional environment. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our experienced software engineering team on various projects, including software development, coding, and testing.
• Assist in the design and implementation of software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of existing software systems.
• Conduct research on new technologies, tools, and best practices in software engineering.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student at a recognized Zimbabwean university.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest and passion for software engineering and development.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and contribute to software engineering projects.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in English (both written and verbal).
