Machine Operator

DUTIES

• Setting up machine to run jobs.
• Documenting and writing up the work job card.
• Assisting in packing of product.
• Safely loading and unloading of logs and material rolls.
• Troubleshooting and making adjustment to typical machine operating problems.
• Doing housekeeping and wash up after running jobs to insure cleanliness of factory.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance duties such as oiling, greasing changing of blades etc.
• Insuring that waste and rejects from running job is kept at a minimal.
• Being the first line of quality assurance making sure the product is made to the exact specifications.
• Adhering to the safety regulations of the plant.
• Assisting with moving of goods and receiving material to the factory.

REQUIREMENTS

• Packaging machine minding qualifications.
• 2 years of experience.
• Ability to stand for long hours, bend, lift, repetitive wrist movement whilst on the job.
• Must be able to lift 25kgs
