Job Description

National Handling Services is a ground handling and aviation services provider in Zimbabwe.

We are seeking three Aviation Safety and Security Agents to ensure the safety and security of our staff, customers, and assets at all times.

The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting security management services and maintaining a safe and secure environment in line with company policies and procedures.

Station: Harare and Victoria Falls

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of company facilities to ensure the safety and security of staff, customers, and assets.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to security incidents in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Conducts cargo screening including the use of X-Ray machines
• Controls access to restricted areas
• Ensures security of baggage and cargo during aircraft handling operations
• Handles valuable cargo in accordance with regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to ensure the safety and security of company facilities.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services to respond to security incidents.
• Provide security training and awareness to company staff and visitors.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents and prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and prepare statistical reports as required.
  Ensure compliance with relevant security policies and procedures.
  Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times and represent the company in a positive manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5 O Levels including English.
• A Diploma in Security or risk management.
• Five years of experience in conducting security management services, preferably in the aviation industry.
• Knowledge of firearms will be an added advantage.
• Unquestionable integrity and high ethical standards.
