Clover Leaf Motors – Bulawayo Branch is a leading car dealership that is committed to providing quality vehicles and excellent customer service.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual studying towards Accounting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the accounting function of the company and will be based in Bulawayo.
The Accounting Intern will be responsible for providing support to the accounting function of the company, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling bank statements
- Assist in accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices and issuing payments to vendors
- Assist in accounts receivable tasks, including generating invoices and following up on outstanding payments
- Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other management reports
- Perform other accounting-related duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
- 50’ level passes including English and Mathematics
- 3 A’ level passes
- Studying towards a degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
