Duties and Responsibilities
- Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
- Ensuring proper storage of materials
- Conducting stock takes both perpetual and periodic
- Managing own safety and safety for subordinates with a zero harm target
- Attending production meetings for the Plant business unit
- Adhering to sound inventory management procedures
- Minimising losses due to fraud, pilferage and mismanagement of inventory
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (Upper Second Class or better)
- CIPS is an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of SAP
- Proficient in excel
- Basic knowledge of I.S.O. standards
