The Loughborough College Service Industries Department are seeking a Maths Lecturer, to teach GCSE and some Functional Skills to a wide range of Learners in the Department. It is a highly successful department with over 600 full time learners from a range of provision including Care, Public Services, Business, Hair and Beauty and Hospitability.
We are looking for someone who will deliver inspiring teaching and learning and monitor progress in lessons. You will ensure all learners are on track to achieve their target grades through implementing appropriate assessments and providing high quality feedback.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage learners through the use of varied high-quality teaching and learning strategies.
You will be required to teach GCSE English and potentially some Functional Skills to our learners and it is expected that you will have previous experience of teaching maths. A relevant degree or equivalent is essential and applicants must already possess a teaching qualification or be working towards one. You must have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

Salary: £31,403 to £36,000 per annum
