Huawei is looking for a professionally qualified and experienced candidate to fill the role of Supply Chain Specialist to be based in Harare.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Project supplier routine management.
2. Supplier qualification and management system audit (QMS/EHS/CS).
3. Supplier selection/Procurement bidding for the project.
4. E2E Huawei project supply management ability (early involvement in sales projects, making proper manufacture and shipment plan for the new order via involvement with the project team, PD, finance, and customer, managing equipment revenue)
5. Supplier commercial negotiation, contract preparation, and signing.
6. Early involve pre-sales project, sourcing, and support cooperation cost analysis.
7. Procurement strategy design and execution, ensure project subcontractor resources, communicate with subcontractors, and handle problems.
8. Organize supplier performance evaluation, and solve problems between suppliers and the project team during project delivery.

Required Education / Qualifications:
• Degree in science and or, engineering such as communications, electronics, computers, mathematics, physics, and materials will be preferred.
• Minimum entry for the position is a degree.
• English and local language necessary, mandarin is welcome, good Microsoft office software skills.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
• Has 3+ years of procurement work experience, experience in the telecom industry is welcome.
• Knows procurement business and process, has experience of supplier qualification, selection, negotiation, cost analyses, etc.
• To have strong communication skills, the ability of understanding as well as interpersonal skills.
• Have a proven track record in supply chain management and industry • knowledge.
• Good time management and task management.
Advantageous:
Good knowledge of English, spoken and written.
