ZIMBABWE PARKS AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the above position in Masvingo. The incumbent will report to the Regional Manager.
Duties (Responsibilities)
Develops the e-tourism platforms including websites and business databases,
Manages staff budgets and staff training needs,
Liaises with local operators, media designers and printers,
Devises and plans tours and arranging itinerary,
Set up and attend exhibitions and other local events,
Cross selling of Zimparks products,
Marketing and selling of tour operator activities at a commission,
Produce tourist information including artwork, tourist guides and maps,
Supervision of new projects,
Complies and manages tour operator and permits and licenses databases,
Undertakes market research with members of the public and visitors at the attraction,
Complies reports and writes business plans,
Undertakes day to day management of tourists activities,
Offers and promotes different services and offerings,
Builds and maintains relationships with clients,
Research destination and travel prices, customs and other amenities,
Manages tourist facilities.
Qualifications, Experience And Skills
Diploma in Marketing/ Tourism or Business Management,
A first degree will be an added advantage,
At least three years’ relevant experience
Good communication and customer relations skills,
Sound knowledge of Digital Marketing.
