FACT Zimbabwe is a Christian based organisation that was instituted in 1987. Since establishment, FACT Zimbabwe has been a leading national HIV and development organisation implementing various projects directly and through partnerships. The organization have since grown to become a broad-based health and development organization
whilst maintaining special focus on HIV and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and related health issues. It envisions ‘Healthy Communities and a Healthy Nation’ and has a national footprint directly and through partnerships. FACT Zimbabwe is a community health partner in a consortium project led by Union Zimbabwe Trust (UZT)
called SUPPORT TB which is funded by USAID. The project Goal is, ‘to improve health outcomes for individuals, health workers, families and communities affected and infected by TB in Zimbabwe’. FACT seeks the services of staff as detailed below;
1. Job Title : Procurement & Logistics Assistant
2. Reports To : Procurement & Logistics Specialist

Purpose of the position:
The Procurement and Logistics Assistant’s responsibilities include assisting in sourcing and ensuring supply of optimal and cost-effective goods and services, evaluating supply options, and maintaining accurate records. S/he will work with the Procurement team which is based at Head Office in day-to-day activities.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement according to the Procurement Plan and FACT Zimbabwe procurement guidelines
• Ensuring the procurement process is complete and updated accordingly
• Management of stocks and documentation of good received and issued
• Prepare and process requisition and purchase orders
• Ensure compliance with donor and audit requirements
• Capturing supplier information and preparing orders in Pastel Evolution
• Asset Management
• Any other duties as instructed by the Procurement and Logistics Specialist
Qualifications and Experience
Experience and qualifications
• BCom Honours Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply or related degree. A CIPS/CILT qualification is a definite added.
• 2 years in a similar role
• Demonstrable computer skills and experience using Pastel;
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• Exquisite knowledge of USAID, Global Fund and UNDP procurement and asset management procedures is an asset.
• Ability to interpret and work in accordance with laid down procedures.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Clean class 4 driver’s license.
