Job Description

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has an exciting and challenging career opportunity at its Mining Division based in Shurugwi.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced individuals to fill the vacant position on contract basis, renewable subject to performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Coordination the drawing up of monthly calendar for the General Manager- Mining Division.
 Ensuring smooth operations and successful hosting of business activities/meetings involving both internal and external stakeholders.
 Keeping maintenance of diaries, appointments, correspondence sorting and filing.
 Maintaining and filing all office files in compliance with the Zimasco file classification.
 Coordinating external or international travel arrangements, meals and overnight bookings.
 Organising, coordinating, minute taking and preparation of meetings minutes.
 Typing of well-presented and error free documents /executive reports for the General Manager.
 Handling and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
 Records management.

Qualifications and Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 At least 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
 At least a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
 Certificate in Records Management.
 Computer Literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
 Working knowledge of SAP Management Information System.
 At least 3 years’ post qualification experience in a similar role or better.
 Good communication and time management skills.
