SUMMARY

The Data Integrity Clerk ensures systems are in place to limit data incorrectness and interrogate and validate data in all agronomy-based systems and provide corrective action thereof for non-conformities. Ensure data in our systems is a true reflection of the reality on the ground and a single point of the truth in line with the Data Integrity Governance Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establish a baseline of data integrity with latest complete crop data.
  • Establishment of system parameters (key data points) to assess for validation and integrity checks.
  • Monitor existing crop data against the baseline, trending performance and measuring impact of success.
  • Daily checks on all (ALP and operational) non-conformity incidence logs to ensure validity and completeness of detail. Inconsistencies and queries to be communicated with relevant team supervisors.
  • Checks to be done on incidents follow up detail for Prompt Actions for completeness and correctness, and timeframe adherence to full resolution.
  • Daily extraction of Field Technician collected GMS data for desktop validation against set parameters (key data points). Identifies data that is outside the prescribed or expected parameters.
  • Daily check on adherence to crop visit schedule, noting any variance. Log stat and variation reports to be completed and submitted against pre-defined parameters.
  • Daily operations report to be compiled and sent to agronomy and field team detailing: (1) data inconsistencies and recapture requirements, (2) visit schedule progress and gaps, and (3) incidence log shortfalls.
  • Comparative crosschecking of Unannounced visits, Supervisor visits, ALP technician visits and Field Technician captured data.
  • Follow up tracking of identified errors and data inconsistencies to rectification and closure.
  • Data change requests to be logged for any, and all, erroneously captured data.
  • Semi-weekly triangulation of GMS data against TOPS, IFAS and QlikView information platforms.
  • Ad-hoc field visits to assess data integrity at farm.
  • Ensure findings from data deficiency checks are incorporated into Field Technician training.
  • Involve internal audit on a biannual basis to ground truth and asses’ data for completeness and correctness. Trend results of the assessments.
  • Assess customer satisfaction on an annual basis for data compliance and trend the results.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • A/O Levels
  • Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics or any other relevant field
  • Business Related Qualification

SKILLS AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong Data Analysis and interrogation skills.
  • Culturally aware and able to work with a diverse team.
