Job Summary: The Business Development intern will be responsible for assisting in identifying new business opportunities, creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the freight railway industry and the ability to develop and implement growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the freight railway sector.
- Assist in Creating and implementing strategies to reach new business opportunities.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Assist in Preparing and presenting business proposals to potential clients.
- Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of market research and analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
