Job Description
We are seeking to hire a Graduate Trainee to join our Digital and Data team. The candidate will be at the forefront of our initiatives in Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Engineering, helping to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic outcomes.
Data Collection and Management
- Gathers and organizes data from various sources.
- Ensures data quality and integrity.
Data Analysis
- Uses statistical tools to interpret data sets.
- Identifies trends, patterns, and insights.
Reporting
- Creates reports and visualizations to communicate findings.
- Presents results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaboration
- Works with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.
- Assists senior analysts and data scientists with projects.
Tool Proficiency
- Utilizes software and programming languages e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R for data analysis.
- Learns to use data visualization tools e.g. Power BI.
Research
- Stays updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Conducts literature reviews to support analysis.
Documentation
- Maintains detailed documentation of methodologies and processes.
- Ensures reproducibility of analyses.
Requirements:
Skills, Qualifications And Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or Statistics
- Business Intelligence certifications will be an added advantage
- Experience using tools such as SQL, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Python, Jupyter Notebooks and Microsoft Excel.
