The following vacancy has arisen within Vivat Clinic for the position of Receptionist(x1). Interested candidates who meet set requirements are encouraged to apply.
REPORTING TO THE ADMINISTRATOR
THE POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Documenting history including complaint and relevant symptoms, ocular health, medication usage,
Welcoming patients pleasantly and politely on arrival, assisting with relevant information.
Checking to ensure that the national medical aid claim form is completed accurately and that all de- tails are included.
Responding and resolving customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Receives, screens, and directs all incoming calls to the appropriate individual or office promptly and accurately in a friendly and courteous manner.
Claims capturing and claims submission to various funders.
Clinic stock requisitions.
Retrieves and stores patient files in the filing room in line with records management system.
Provides client feedback to the Administrator.
Makes available all necessary stationery in Doctors’ rooms.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Degree or diploma in business administration
Certificate in nurse aide is a plus.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
