At Inspire Care Agency we are currently looking for a day/sleep-in Support Workers to join our team in Kent/London with supporting individuals with a learning disability/mental health condition to live a full meaningful life. The ideal candidate for this job vacancy will have experience in learning disabilities and mental health (not essential). Within this role as a support worker you will need a good and clear understanding of medication, procedures, safeguarding policies and procedures. Also, you’ll need motivation skills, be self- motivated, passionate, flexible and organised. The ideal candidate will have communication and listening skills, basic IT skills, report writing skills, patient, initiative and more.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Include: –

  • Support the Service user with everyday task and help them live independently
  • Support people with Autism, Mental Health Needs, Acquired Brain Injuries, and Learning Disabilities
  • Support with shopping, laundry, cooking, budgeting, cleaning and personal care
  • Support with activities in the community etc
  • Maintain a professional and presentable environment
  • Ensure service users continuous development with daily key working
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and council guidelines

Essential Criteria: –

  • Understand and uphold regulations and CQC compliance
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care
  • Basic IT Skills

Successful candidate will be required to hold or apply for an Enhanced DBS Certificate and have 2 references, including one from their most recent employer

Shifts: Weekly Live-in Carer, Day & Night shifts
