Under the supervision of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Assistant, the Casual Data Entry Clerk’s primary responsibility is inputting data and information into the various electronic databases for analysis, research, decision making, reporting and storage.

DUTIES

  • Adding relationships in OVCMIS, Linking OVC to their caregivers and households.
  • Capturing EID tracking data into OVCMIS.
  • Servicing participants (Stationery and Attendance tracking)
  • Servicing participants (Sanitary wear)
  • Servicing participants who received growth monitoring, Household hygiene and wash, IMBC
  • Data cleaning and recording errors encountered during data entry (Data cleaning reports for each cleaning).
  • Verification of data from source documents during entry and completing error logs for discrepancies observed (reports for each verification task).
  • Retention of all participants

REQUIREMENTS

  • The applicant should hold at least a Diploma in Social Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, Economics or other related fields from a recognized institution.
  • Holding a Bachelor(s) degree in the fields noted is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in OVC is a requirement.
  • At least one-year experience in data management and analysis in a busy healthcare setting and in a field directly related to HIV&AIDS and specified responsibilities.
  • Previous exposure and experience working with healthcare delivery systems such as DHIS 2, ePMS, Epoc is a significant advantage.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to organize work independently as well as work in a team.
  • Relevant experience in documentation, reporting and records management is a requirement.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate in the local and national languages.
