Job title: SECURITY OFFICERS (male and female)
Reports to: Admin Manager
Location: Mwenezi District, Zimbabwe
Duration: 1 year (renewable upon satisfactory performance)

Organization Overview:

Score Against Poverty (SCORE) is a community-based organization located in the Mwenezi District of Zimbabwe. The organization actively works in diverse projects relating to food security, naturebased solutions, biodiversity promotion, water and sanitation, and climate change and clean energy.

Key role and responsibilities:

Alert and defend office surroundings against external threats, intrusion, and circumstantial vulnerabilities.
securing the premises and personnel by staying on patrol, monitoring surveillance systems, performing building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying visitors.
Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately.
Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance.
Collaborate with government security officers for effective protection and coverage.
Complete daily reports of operations, including relevant information, observations, and signatures.
Protect building, assets, walls, fence, yard in all weather conditions.
Carry out other administrative, logistical and/or procurement duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 Minimum Diploma or equivalent
 Certification in self-defence or any other related field
 Proven experience as security officer
 Helpful, courteous attitude
 Proficiency with computers, and aptitude to learn new software and systems
 Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems
 Law enforcement experience
 Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
 Strong Organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
