Duties and responsibilities
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues;
Installing and configuring hardware and software;
Repairing or replacing damaged hardware;
Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level;
Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting;
Developing and maintaining local networks;
Organising and scheduling upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work;
Troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner;
Maintaining hardware and software inventory;
Supervising Technicians;
Manning Computer Laboratories;
Training users;
Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Desired Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent plus three (3) years relevant working experience or a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent plus five (5) relevant working experience;
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks;
Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position;
Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills;
CompTIA A+, MTA, CCNA, or LPI certification will be an added advantage;
