Key result areas include
Creating and managing events’ calendar and negotiate quotations and agreements with clients.
Creating sales opportunities for future events during client liaison meetings and functions, conferences and events.
Identifying clients’ requirements and expectations for the event.
Selecting venues and determining seating plans and setting up of tables, and other equipment.
Ensuring that allocated venues are ready on the day of the function, conference or event.
Organizing and arranging function or event services and monitor client approval.
Conducting final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards.
Coordinating and executing functions, conferences and events.
Working closely with banqueting, marketing and front office team to ensure the success of functions, conferences or events.
Analysing and evaluating the results and success of each function, conference or event.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree / Diploma in Events Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management or related field.
2 years minimum experience in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.
