About

Zvandiri is a community organisation which through its Zvandiri programme, integrates community prevention, treatment, care and support for children, adolescents and young people living with HIV. Works with the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) and National AIDS Council in implementing these interventions with funding from various funders.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Knowledge Management and Documentation Coordinator, the Knowledge Management Associate will provide overall knowledge management assistance, and daily administrative support to the Knowledge Evidence and Innovation unit.

DUTIES

Knowledge Management System and Processes

Support the organisation of knowledge management digital platforms, working closely with supervisor.
Plan and schedule the utilisations of the knowledge sharing platforms specifically the Zvandiri Connect, Zvandiri ECHO hub for case management sessions and Peadiatric and Adolescent course.
Support the dissemination of new materials, tools and publications in the knowledge library.

Content Generation for Zvandiri Package and Materials

Support the brainstorming and development of Zvandiri packages and materials
Assist in proof reading knowledge materials generated.
Assisting with research and innovation projects as required
Assist capacity-building activities for staff and other stakeholders on access of the Zvandiri Knowledge Library and other platforms;
Collaborating with KEI and the IT team in developing strategies to identify and meet the demands of users regarding utilisation of the electronic platforms for knowledge sharing and training.
Collaborating with the KEI and the IT team in developing new features and improving existing functionalities of the knowledge sharing platforms, including their design and layout tools to help people find the information they are looking for quickly and easily.
Collaborating with the IT team in developing monitoring systems to produce statistics and monthly reports;
Providing administrative and logistical support to the KEI team.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotions, Social Sciences or related fields.
Prior experience of in carrying out information research, with ability to analyse information and summarise key facts.
Experience of using knowledge management/library systems is an added advantage.
Ability to support and build knowledge products.
High level of proficiency in MS Suite is required. Experience of working with WordPress is desirable.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
