Applications are invited for the positions of Chemistry Teacher (1) and French Teacher (1) which have arisen::

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum to learners in the curriculum area as appropriate, evaluate, monitor, and support the overall progress and total development of learners including co- curricular activities as well as appropriate administrative work in line with Catholic and Jesuit ethos and the College’s Vision, Mission, Values and policies.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have:

At least a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject.
At least a diploma-level teaching qualification.
Proof of completion of Cambridge Professional Development programs in the relevant subject
Demonstrated competence in teaching the Cambridge syllabus up to Advanced Level.
Minimum of three years teaching experience in the subject applying for and any other subject. Willingness to work within the Catholic traditions and ethos of St Ignatius College.
Proficiency in coaching and/or facilitating at least two co-curricular activities. • At least intermediate level ICT literacy and proficiency with E-Learning platforms.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Irreproachable integrity, professional conduct, and a passion for teaching as a vocation.
Ability and willingness to work additional hours as needed.
The successful candidate should be prepared to commute to and from the College on working days with assistance from the College.
